America’s Best Hydroponics & Garden Center™ presents the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor
A new, simple rockwool prepping tool that makes the future of cultivating in rockwool much easier by removing excess alkalinity and stagnant water from all 6”x 6” rockwool blocks. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor is a time saving tool that promotes faster rooting, increased oxygen levels to the root zone, increased nutrient uptake, stable PH levels and lower alkalinity levels. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor is designed to work with just the rockwool block or with the Pro 360 Oxygen Pod to remove unwanted stagnant water from over watered 6”x 6” rockwool blocks from clone to harvest. A simple low-cost tool for checking PH, EC/PPM.
Proudly Made in America – Patent Pending
Why the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor is needed:
· Lowers dangerously high alkalinity levels in rockwool
· PH balances the rockwool block for a more stable PH
· Removes excess stagnant water from the wet/soaked rockwool block
· Promotes faster rooting and boosts plant productivity (roots in 5-7 days)
· Can be used in any stage to remove excess water from the rockwool block
· Adds maximum amounts of vital oxygen to the rockwool block from day one for root steering
· Less chance of root rot diseases, larva, insects, algae and mold growth
· Leaves rockwool block in an aerobic condition from day one
· Keeps rockwool block moist, not soaking wet, to steer the plant to produce more roots
· Makes nutrients more available to the plant
· Allows seedlings & clones to be water/feed in as soon as 6 days
· Eliminates squeezing and smashing the rockwool block and ruining its integrity
· No more waiting 2-3 weeks for rockwool blocks to dry out to start feeding
· A simple and easy to use tool for prepping all 6”x 6” rockwool blocks
· Allows the roots and microbes to respire/breath 24/7
· Easily attaches to any 3 ½ - 5 gallons wet vac with a 2” hose
· Will optimize your growing experience in rockwool
· Allows you to start with even water content and oxygen levels
· Commercial/Professional grade hydroponic tool that is built to last
· Designed for all 6” rockwool blocks and will work with 1 ½” – 8” rockwool blocks
· Perfect with mini-blocks for unrooted clones at 40% less of their wet soaked weight
· Works best with the Pro 360 Scale for accurate and even water content (WC)
· Removes water out of rockwool blocks for easy removal at end of harvest for recycling
· The perfect tool for checking PH, EC and PPM of the rockwool or Coco/Peat block in any stage
The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor makes growing in rockwool easier with a new and more precise way to start seedlings or clones in rockwool blocks at 62% water content to start. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor creates a more productive plant through higher oxygen content bringing precision to the next level with a new time saving hydroponic rockwool prepping tool. The tool easily attaches to any 3 ½-5 gallon wet vac with 2” hose. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor makes it easy to remove the alkalinity and excess stagnant water from the rockwool block and add back vital oxygen without squeezing the rockwool and ruining its integrity. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor leaves the rockwool block with a stable PH and helps eliminate high alkalinity, PH fluctuations, lack of oxygen, nutrient lockout and root rot diseases.
The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor is a more effective way to start any kind of plant in 6”x 6” rockwool blocks and will boost productivity of the 6”x 6” rockwool blocks. Roots love an oxygen-rich, aerobic moist environment to supply water/nutrients to the plant and to keep the roots respiring. Nutrient up-take is faster when adequate oxygen is available to the roots. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor eliminates starting with an overly wet rockwool block that can take as long as 3 weeks to dry-back. A healthy root zone starts by creating the maximum amount of oxygen possible for the roots and microbes to thrive in from day one.
Directions for starting clones/seedlings in 6” x 6” rockwool blocks: The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor easily attaches to any 3 ½-5 WET-VAC with a 2” hose.
1. Soak or top spray with water wand the 6”x 6” rockwool block in R/O water with 1-1.5 (EC) strength bloom nutrients at 5.2 PH for 5 minutes.
2. Attach the WET-VAC hose to the 2” opening of the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor.
3. Place the pre-soaked rockwool block with the factory plastic wrapper on the top of the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractorand turn on the WET-VAC for approximately 5 seconds. This will extract the alkalinity and stagnant water of the rockwool block and pull in fresh oxygen.
4. Place the rockwool block on the Pro 360 Scale for the desired weight when starting clones or seedlings. We recommend starting clones/seedlings at 3 ½ lbs. and 62% WC allowing the Pro 360 System to start on day 7. (NOTE) Keep a gallon of soak water handy if too much water is pulled out of the rockwool block so you can add some back to achieve target water content and weight.
**Choose your weight before you start **ALKALINITY PPM = PH REFERENCE FOR 6”x 6” ROCKWOOL WATER WEIGHT SCALE(these are approximations from testing using Hanna® Alkalinity Meter and Hanna®PH Meter)
These references are for starting rooted clones into the 6” x 6” rockwool block(vegetation stage: 77-80 temperature; 65-70 humidity; 24/7)
High toxic alkalinity is never preferred when growing plants in rockwool and makes many nutrients unavailable. High alkalinity is a byproduct left behind from the basaltic rock and chalk from the factory with approximately 300 PPM and a PH close to 8.0. Alkalinity is a measure of the carbonate and bicarbonate levels as dissolved lime stone that is insoluble and causes PH (potential of hydrogen) of the rockwool to keep rising (Alkalinity is what dictates the PH in rockwool). The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor helps remove the alkalinity down from 300 to 150 PPM and bring the PH of the rockwool down to the 6.5 range with a more stable PH level.
All 6”x 6” rockwool blocks weigh near 0.5 lbs. dry but after the factory recommended PH soak, the rockwool block will weigh over 6 lbs. and will take up to 3 weeks dry-back/dry out. This results in slow growth and anaerobic conditions in the rockwool until it completely dries out and the stagnant water is replaced by vital oxygen. Dry time is now 7 – 10 days instead of 16 – 20 days. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor is a valuable tool for end of harvest to remove unwanted water out of the rockwool blocks so they are light weight and easy to bag up for recycling.
