The obstacles when starting rooted clones and seedlings is after the initial factory recommended pre-soaking of the 6”x 6” rockwool block, they are loaded with high alkalinity, high PH and 6 lbs. of stagnant water and will take up to 3 weeks for the clone or seedling to dry-out and have access to vital oxygen for the roots to respire. The rockwool lacks vital oxygen making it anaerobic and ready for root rot or just very slow plant growth. The high alkalinity causes the PH to keep rising and interferes with plant nutrients making calcium and other nutrients unavailable for uptake to the plant.

These problems are solved by using the Pro 360 Scale and the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor to remove the stagnant water and the high alkalinity out of the rockwool block to keep PH levels more stable and vital oxygen high allowing the roots and microbes to breath/respire. These references are for starting rooted clones into the 6” x 6” rockwool block(vegetation stage: 77-80 temperature; 65-70 humidity; 24/7) 

Start by using the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractorto remove the water weight and toxic alkalinity out of the rockwool block. After using the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor, use the Pro 360 Scale to bring the rockwool block to a consistent and even water weight and water content by weighing the 6”x 6” rockwool block. Once the weight has been set, then the factory plastic wrapper can be removed, then place the 6”x 6” rockwool block in the Pro 360 Oxygen Pod (where it will remain until harvest). This advantageous method of transplanting clones or seedlings into rockwool blocks uses an extractor and a scale to grow more productive and precise.
