Precision & Control

The problems with hand watering and flood & drain rockwool systems is that there is no control of water content (WC) and dry-backs. Rockwool has a low cation exchange capacity (CEC) meaning nutrients are only available when the plant is being fed nutrients. This is why a small amount of nutrients should be fed multiple times per day for increased nutrient uptake and availability.

The Pro 360 System was created to be reliable and keep rockwool at the perfect water content (WC) and oxygen level 24/7 with control of dry-backs from clone to harvest. Precision automation allows the plant to feed 1-20 times per day with as little as 25ml (1 shot glass) of nutrients at a time to keep nutrients available for uptake and availability to the plant in the rockwool block. This system will make any company’s nutrients work more effectively, increasing crop yields and quality. Eliminates Algae

Algae is never wanted or needed when growing plants in rockwool. Algae is attracted to rockwool and that attracts bugs and diseases which slows vital oxygen from getting inside the rockwool blocks. Algae is a moss-like plant that is spread by air born spores. Once inside the grow it can also spread through white PVC nutrient feed lines. Algae spreads in wet, low light and low oxygen conditions. Decades of bugs, diseases, mold and algae growth on rockwool blocks are finely over now with the Pro 360 System.

One of biggest problem when starting plants in rockwool is high, toxic alkalinity levels. High alkalinity is a by-product left behind from the basaltic rock and chalk from the factory (with approximately 300 PPM and a PH close to 8.0). Alkalinity is a measure of the carbonate & bicarbonate levels as dissolved lime stone that is insoluble and causes PH (potential of hydrogen) of the rockwool to keep rising. Alkalinity is what dictates the PH levels in rockwool. High alkalinity levels are never preferred when growing plants in rockwool and makes calcium and many other nutrients and elements unavailable.

Traditional rockwool pre-soak will only remove approximately 50-90 PPM of alkalinity and leave a PH of 7.5-7.0 in the rockwool block. The Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor solves this problem by removing approximately 100-175 PPM of alkalinity from the rockwool block and leave a PH level of 6.0-7.0. the Pro 360 Alkalinity/Water Extractor will help keep rockwool at the proper PH levels right from the start.
